RECOMMENDED ACTION APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Executive Director, Community Services Department, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #87F-6436 between the County and the Department of Economic Opportunity in the amount of $49,782 . 00 for the contract period of August 14 , 1987, to August 13 , 1988 . II . FINANCIAL IMPACT Funds received from this proposed contract are not reflected in the FY 87-88 Budget, and shall be added through a forthcoming appropria- tion adjustment. III . CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION \A Failure to authorize this contract will result in the loss of $49,782 .00 in contract revenue to the department. 4 IV. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDED ACTION On August 3.1, 1987, the department received notification of the attached contract. The intent of this agreement is'-to provide funds to the County for the purpose of establishing and operating a share housing program for eligible single parents residing -in the County. This contract has been reviewed and approved by County Counsel as to form. No County funds are involved with this request.
