SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND
JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE Right of Way Contracts and ACCEPT Temporary
Construction Easements dated August 18, 1987 and August 27,
1987 from Irene Quesnoy and Richard J. and Georgina Borke.
Authorize Chief Engineer to execute the Right of Way
Contracts on behalf of the District.
APPROVE payment for said property rights and AUTHORIZE the
Auditor-Controller to issue checks in the following amounts
payable to Irene Quesnoy for $250. 00, and to Richard J. and
Georgina Borke for $750. 00, to be forwarded to the Real
Property Division for delivery.

DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above
referenced Temporary Construction Easements recorded in the
office of the County Recorder.
II. Financial Impact:
Payments of $250. 00 and $750. 00 from Upper Pine Creek Flood
Control Zone 3B funds which are 75% reimbursable from State
Department of Water Resources.
III. Reasons for Recommendations & Background:
These property rights are required for the Upper Pine Creek
Flood Control Channel construction project in accordance with
approved plans and specifications.
V. Consequences of Negative Action:
The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow
construction in accordance with the approved plans and
specifications.
