RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A
PUBLIC STREET
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Pursuant to Chapter 3, "General Vacation Procedure, " of Part 3
of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code, this Board
declares its intention to vacate a portion of the County street
commonly known as Del Hombre Lane which is described in attached
Exhibit "A" . This proposed vacation is generally located in the
area of Pleasant Hill. A map of the portion to be vacated is on
file in the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on Tuesday, September 15, 1987 at 9: 00
a.m. in its Chambers, Administration Building, 651 Pine Street,
Martinez, California, to hear evidence offered by any interested
party as to whether this is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use.
This Board DIRECTS the Clerk to have a copy of this resolution
of intention published in a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in this County, which is selected as the
newspaper most likely to give notice to persons interested in the
proposed vacation, for at least two successive weeks before the
hearing in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Sections
8320 and 8322 . Said notice shall be posted conspicuously along
the line of this proposed vacation at least two weeks before the
hearing, in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Section
8323 .

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of the Contra Costa County road known as Del Hombre Lane, which
lies within the Rancho Las Juntas, described as follows: .
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of that parcel of land referred to in
the resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County recorded May 6,
1982 in Book 10772 at page 894 of said County; thence from said point of
beginning along the easterly right of way line of said Del Hombre Lane south
80 47' 06" west 87.48 feet; thence southerly along a tangent curve concave
to the east having a radius of 20.00 feet, through a central angle of 300
03' 40" , an arc distance of 10.49 feet; thence non-tangent to said curve
north 880 38' 44" west 14.62 feet; thence northwesterly along a tangent
curve concave to the northeast having a radius of 70.00 feet, through a
central angle of 320 01' 51" , an arc distance of 39.13 feet to a point on
the westerly right of way line of said Del Hombre Lane; thence along said
westerly right of way line, north 80 47' 06" east 89.98 feet to the point of
intersection with the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of that
parcel of land described in the deed to Robert F. Kennedy, et al recorded
December 30, 1986 in Book 13353 at page 214 of Official Records of said
County; thence along said westerly prolongation of said northerly line south
850 22' 50" east 50.13 feet to the point of beginning.
RESERVING THEREFROM: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the
Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right at any time, or from time
to time, to construct, enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove , and
renew those existing and in place utilities, as of the date of recording
this instrument, in, upon, over and across any highway or part thereof
proposed to be abandoned, including access to protect the property from all
hazards in, upon, and over the area herein before described to be abandoned.
