Michael Walford, Chief Engineer DATE: August 4 , 1987 SUBJECT: Property Acquisition Upper Pine Creek, Project #k7520- 6B8688, Concord Area SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: APPROVE Right of Way Contract and ACCEPT Grant Deed, Grant of Easement, and Temporary Construction Permit from Irene Quesnoy. AUTHORIZE Chief Engineer to execute the Right of Way Contact and Temporary Construction permit on behalf of the District. APPROVE payment of $7, 707 for said property rights and AUTHORIZE Auditor-Controller to issue a check in said amount payable to First American Title Company, Escrow No. 206027, to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery. DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above referenced Grant Deed and Grant of Easement recorded in the office of the County Recorder. II. Financial Impact: Payment of $7,707 from Upper Pine Creek Flood Control Zone 3B project funds which are 75% reimbursable by the State Department of Water Resources. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: These property rights are required for the Upper Pine Creek Flood Control channel construction project in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
