RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Schedule a ,workshop for Tuesday, September 29, 1987 at' 2:00
P.M. for the Board of Supervisors and Retirement Board to
jointly receive a briefing by County staff on the process
and requirements for an employee to become eligible for

Board schedule a workshop on this subject at which factual
information can be presented to us and staff can make any
recommendations they believe are necessary to improve these
programs. Because of the critical role the Retirement Board
plays in the portion of this continuum dealing with disability
retirement, we are suggesting that the Retirement Board be
invited to join us for this workshop.
