THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on August 18 , 1987 , by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder , Torlakson, McPeak.
NOES: None .
ABSENT: None,
ABSTAIN: None .
SUBJECT: County Correctional Facility RESOLUTION NO. 87/;507
Capital Expenditure Bond Act
of 1986 (Juvenile Facilities)
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES
THAT:
Gerald S. Buck, County Probation Officer, is authorized
and directed to submit applications for funds to the Department
of the Youth Authority, State of California, pursuant to the
County Correctional Facility Capital Expenditure Bond Act of 1986
(Juvenile Facilities) , as follows:
1. Various projects involving deferred maintenance and the
correction of fire, life, health or safety deficiences.
2. It is estimated that these projects will cost approxi-
mately $633 ,411 .
3. Contra Costa County will provide hard matching funds in
the amount of $63 ,341 as follows: Construction costs,
architectural programming and design and fixed
equipment.
4. Contra Costa County will provide soft matching funds in
the amount of $95,012 as follows: General Services
analysis of the adequacy of existing structures and
County management and administrative costs up to four
percent ( 40) of the total project cost.
5. Contra Costa County intends to finance all ongoing
operating costs associated with these projects.
6. Gerald S. Buck, County Probation Officer, is hereby
authorized to sign a contract in behalf of Contra Costa
County with the Department of the Youth Authority for
these projects.
