PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE CODE SECTION 24-2 .402 IN
REGULAR ADJOURNED SESSION ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1978
AT 5: 00 P.M. IN THE COURT ROOM, L WARD, COUNTY HOSPITAL,

In the Matter of
Meeting with the Contra Costa
County Mental Health Advisory
Board.
Supervisors J. P. Kenny, N. C. Fanden, W. N. Boggess, and
R. I. Schroder met with members of the Contra Costa County Mental
Health Advisory Board (MFAB) and discussed issues relating to the
role of the MHAB as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors,
and the relationship of the MHAB to the Human Services Advisory
Commission. There was also some discussion regarding the feasibility
of seeking federal mental health funds in light of the fact that
State funds are not sufficient to finance the County's mental health
needs.
