SUBJECT:
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I . RECOMMENDATION:
Declare as surplus and authorize the Purchasing Services
Officer to dispose of vehicles from the Moraga Fire District,
as specifically set forth below.
II. BACKGROUND:
Section 1108-2. 212 of the County Ordinance code authorizes the
Purchasing Agent to dispose of any personal property belonging
to the County and found by the Board not to be further
required for public use. The items below are obsolete, worn out
or beyond economical repair and are appropriate for disposal:
1. A 1976 Dodge sedan engine No. WK41L6A183333 in very
poor condition with major mechanical problems and
poor appearance.
2. A 1978 Ford Cut-A-Way cab and chassis Vehicle No.
E37AHX95660. This cab and chassis is what remains
after the ambulance box portion was removed and
installed on a new cab and chassis.
