RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve and authorize the Chair to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #22-077-10 with Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District for the period July 1 , 1987 - June 30, 1988 for provision of congregate meal services for the Senior Nutrition Program. This document includes a three-month automa- tic extension from June 30 , 1988 through September 309 1988 . II . FINANCIAL IMPACT : The contractor will pay County the net project income received from participants , after adjustment for allowable costs . This contract is expected to result in a net income to the County of $8 , 713 for FY 1987-88 . III . REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND : On June 17 , 1986 the Board approved Contract #22-077-9 with Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District for congregate meal services for the Senior Nutrition Program. Contract #22-077-10 continues this service during FY 1987-88 . This program provides an average of 45 meals per day, five days per week, for senior citizens at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center , including outreach and supportive services . This document has been approved by the Department ' s Contracts and Grants Administrator in accordance with the guidelines approved by the Board ' s Order of December 1 , 1981 (Guidelines for contract preparation and processing, Health Services Department ) .
