RESOLUTION NO. 3500
AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FOR -
ADDITIONAL SECTION 8 VOUCHERS IN SUPPORT OF
THE RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and Community Development Act
of 1974 provides for a program of Housing Assistance Payments to
residents of existing housing; and,
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa has been
invited to apply to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development for additional Section 8 Vouchers in support of the
Rental Rehabilitation Program for FY1986;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the
Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa hereby authorizes
its Executive Director to file an application with HUD for
additional Section 8 Vouchers in support of the Rental
Rehabilitation Program.
The Executive Director is further authorized to submit any
additional information in support of the application which may be
required by HUD.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
