Io THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on August 5 , 1986 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson, Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT: Proposed Ordinance Requiring Land Use Permits for Certain Repair, Rebuilding or Modernization Work on Existing Structures or for Certain Enlargement of Existing Uses in Heavy Industrial Districts Supervisor Powers initiated Board discussion of a proposed ordinance requiring land use permits for certain repair, rebuilding or modernization work on existing structures for certain enlargement of existing uses in heavy industrial districts. He commented that this is a part of the process that came out. of the Hazardous Waste Task Force, namely Recommendation 56 , and he distributed copies of the proposed ordinance to the Board for, consideration. Supervisor Torlakson suggested that since the Board had not had time to review the proposed ordinance that it be placed on a future agenda. The Board considered the matter. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the County Administrator is REQUESTED to place on the August 12, 1986 agenda the proposed ordinance requiring land use permits for certain repair, rebuilding or modernization work on existing structures or for certain enlarge- ment of existing uses in heavy industrial districts for introduction and fixing hearing date on the proposed ordinance. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Community Development Director is DIRECTED to notify all interested parties.. 1 hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supe ors on tho date shown.
