June 26, 1986 COJ' "r SUBJECT: WEST COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT MANAGEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT RENEWAL SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND Alm JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION• Authorize Chairman, Board of Supervisors, to execute a contract with the City of Richmond for the provision of management services by the City to the West County Fire Protection District during the period of July 1, 1986 through June 30, 1987 at a cost not to exceed $116,366. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: Under the terms of the contract, the City provides management services at a cost of $7,136 per month and emergency communications and dispatch services at a cost of $2, 561 per month. The Chief of the Richmond City Fire Department serves as Acting Chief of the West County Fire Protection District. Other management services provided by the contract include administration, personnel, budget, training and expenditure control.
