The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 954.5 and to Chapter
3, "General Vacation Procedure," of Part 3 of Division of the Streets and
Highways Code, This Board declares its intention to terminate the mainten-
ance of the County Highway known as Camino Vaqueros and described in
attached Exhibit "A". This proposed termination is generally located
in the area of Byron. A map of the portion on which maintenance is to be
terminated is on file in the Public Works Department.
It fixes Tuesday, August 5, 1986 at 10:30 a.m. in its Chambers,
Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as the
time and place for hearing evidence offered by any interested party as to
whether said highway is unnecessary for present or prospective public
convenience.
The Clerk shall have a copy of this resolution of intention published
in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in this
County, which is selected as the newspaper most likely to give notice to
persons interested in the proposed- termination, for at least two successive
weeks before the hearing in accordance with Streets and Highways Code,
Sections 8320 and 8322. Notice shall also be posted conspicuously along
the line of this proposed termination at least two weeks before the hearing,
in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Section 8323.
I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of
an action taken and entered on the mMutes of the
Board of Supervisor's on the date shown.

EXHIBIT 'A'
All of that road located within Contra Costa County California, know as Camino
Vaqueros, lying within section 7 and 8 TIS, R X, MDM, being a portion of that
certain road established by the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
November 3, 1879 upon petition (29A) of H.C. Gallager proceeding in "Road
Record Books" page 280, said Camino Vaqueros is bounded on the west by Vasco
Road and on the east by Camino Diablo.
