SUBJECT: Authorizing Execution of Contract Amendment for Contra W�Illy
Costa Children's Council (County 1119-7051-1)
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommendation:
Authorize the Executive Director, Contra Costa County Private Industry
Council, to execute on behalf of the County, standard form Job Training
Partnership Act (JTPA) Contract Amendment 1119-7051-1 with Contra Costa
Children's Council, effective September 15, 1985, to make certain revisions
in child care rates, with no change in the Contract Payment Limit.
II. Financial Impact:
None. 100 percent federal funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendation/Background:
By its Order dated June 18, 1985, the Board authorized the execution
of standard form Contract 1119-7051-0 with Contra Costa Children's
Council to provide child care services for children of County's JTPA
participants, for the term beginning July 1, 1985 and ending
June 30, 1986, in the amount of $27,700.
This Amendment will change the rate to reflect a flat fee of $1.00 per
hour for each child receiving child care services under the Contract.
