SUBJECT: Certificate of Commendation
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the attached Certificate
of Commendation for William W. Ward.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION:
To recognize the valuable service and unselfish contributions
made to the County through his involvement in Emergency Services
Programs.
IV. BACKGROUND:
Mr. Ward has devoted thirty-three (33) years of service in the
Emergency Services field in the Bay Area. His involvement on a
local and state level has greatly benefited the community. A
Certificate of Commendation from the Board, would be an
appropriate token of appreciation for his accomplishments in this
county.
