Reorganization (LAFC 85-14) ) RESOLUTION NO. 85/488
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Application for the subject Reorganization was filed on June 12 ,
19851with the Local Agency Formation Commission of Contra Costa County,
by Resolution 85-3 of the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District
(SRVFPD) .
This Reorganization is comprised of the following concurrent
changes of organization :
Annexation to SRVFPD and Detachment from Tassajara
Fire Protection District (TFPD).
The reason for this Reorganization is to provide more efficient,
cost effective fire protection services to the area in question.
.The subject Reorganization has been designated by the Local
Agency Formation Commission as "Hansen Lane/West Branch Boundary
Reorganization (LAFC 85-14) " .
As determined by the Local Agency Formation Commission, the
territory proposed to be detached is legally uninhabited and is
located entirely within Contra Costa County.
This Reorganization was approved by the Local Agency Formation
Commission on July 17 , 1985 , subject to the condition that the
territory proposed to be detached be as described in Exhibit "A" ,
attached hereto.
At 10 ; 30 a.m. , on Tuesday, October 1, 1985 , in the Board of
Supervisors Chambers , County Administration Building, Martinez,
California, this Board will conduct a public hearing on the proposed
Reorganization. At that time all interested persons or taxpayers,
for "or against the proposed Reorganization, will be heard and any
protests received. Any interested person desiring to make written
protest against said reorganization shall do so by written communi-
cation filed with the clerk of the Board of Supervisors not later
than' the hour set for hearing. A written protest by a landowner
shall contain a description sufficient to identify the land owned
by him; a protest by a voter shall contain the residential address
of such voter.
The Clerk of this Board shall have this resolution published
once in the Contra Costa Times, a newspaper of general circulation
published in this County. and circulated in the territory proposed
to be annexed, not later than fifteen (15) days before the hearing
date. The Clerk shall also post notice of the hearing at least
fifteen (15) days before the hearing date and continuing to the
time of the hearing. The Clerk shall also mail notice of the
hearing, at least fifteen (15) days beforehand to all persons and
counties, cities , or districts, which theretofore filed a written
request for special notice with the Clerk and to the LAFCO
Executive Officer.

Beginning at the southwest corner of Parcel A. as shown on the Record of
Survey filed May 16, 1966, in Book 42 of Land Survey Maps , at Page 33, said
point also being on the northern boundary of Camino Tassajara; thence from said
point of beginning ,North 00°10'25" West, 1193. 70 feet to the northwest corner of
Parcel A (42LSM33) ; thence East, 1329.26 feet and North 89031130" East, 1286.67
feet to the northeast corner of Parcel A (42LSM33) ; thence South 00°07'25" East,
1600.47 feet to a point on the centerline of Camino Tassajara; thence con-
tinueing along the Centerline of Camino Tassajara the following courses and
distances, South 74024'09" East, 23.01 feet; North 80054'31" East, 494 .58 feet;

Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 53, said point being on the
common boundary of the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District and the
Tassajara Fire Protection District as they now exist; thence following along
said common boundary, North 89045' East, 2,640.00 feet, more or less, to the
northeast corner of said lot 53; thence South 0'15' West, 1518.00 feet, more or
less , to the northwest corner of said lot 43; thence North 89045' East, 2686.20
feet and South 89045' East, 1907.40 feet, to the northeast corner of lot 43;
thence leaving the aforesaid common boundary line and following along the
eastern and southern lines of lot 43, South 6000' West, 953.70 feet South 16100'
West, 1110.78 feet, North 83045' West, 1062.60 feet, South 86015' West, 2673.00
feet, and South 63015' West, 650.00 feet, to the westerly line of Dougherty
Ranch Road; thence northerly along said westerly line to its intersection with
the southern line of lot 53; thence westerly along said southern line to the
