Home My WebLink AboutMINUTES - 08201985 - 1.4 1, 4 A THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on August 20, 1985 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , McPeak, Torlakson and Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Schroder ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Approval of the Final Map ) RESOLUTION NO. 85/492 and Subdivision Agreement ) for Subdivision 6580 ) Oakley Area. ) The following documents were presented for Board approval this date: The Final Map of Subdivision 6580, property located in the Oakley area, said map having been certified by the proper officials; A Subdivision Agreement with RWC California Company, subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Subdivision Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement; Said documents were accompanied by: I. Security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improve- ments as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 96612, dated August 2, 1985) in the amount of $4,000 made by Woodhill Development Company. B. Additional security in the form of a corporate surety bond dated July 22, 1985, and issued by Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland (Bond No. 9862287) with RWC California Company as principal , in the amount of $390,000 for faithful performance and $197,000 for labor and materials. II. Letter from the County Tax Collector stating that there are no unpaid County taxes heretofore levied on the property included in said map and that the 1984-85 tax lien has been paid in full and the 1985-86 tax lien, which became a lien on the first day of March, 1985, is estimated to be $7,500; III. Security to guarantee the payment of taxes as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code in the form of a surety bond, No. 9862290, issued by Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland with RWC California Company as principal , in the amount of $7,500 quaranteeing the payment of the estimated tax; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvement, is DETERMINED to be con- sistent with the County's general and specific plans; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Final Map is APPROVED and this Board does not accept or reject on behalf of the public any of the streets, paths, or easements shown thereon as dedicated to public use. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Subdivision Agreement is also APPROVED. A Road Improvement Agreement with RWC California Company, developer, whereby said developer agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Road Improvement Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement; Said document was accompanied by the following: Security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: a. Cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 96612, dated August 2, 1985) in the amount of $2,000, made by Woodhill Development Company. b. Additional security in the form of a corporate surety bond dated July 22, 1985, and issued by Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland (Bond No. 9862288) with RWC California Company as principal , in the amount of $217,400 for faithful performance and $109,700 for labor and materials.
