Subject: Sale of Surplus Property
Vacant Land On Wilbur Avenue

Antioch Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired the real property on Wilbur Avenue located 250
feet east of Viera Avenue in the Antioch area, described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, for road purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no
'longer required for any County or public purposes and its estimated value does
not exceed $10,000.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the sale of said property to
Allison Family Trust pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the Board
Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the County in
Consideration for the payment received in full in the amount of $2,000.00, the
estimated fair market value of the property.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the Grant Deed to be delivered
to the grantee for acceptance and recording in the office of the County Recorder.
The Board hereby FINDS that the project is exempt from Environmental Impact
Report requirements as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines,
and DIRECTS the County Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with
the County Clerk. The project has been determined to conform to the County
General Plan.

A portion of that parcel of land described in deed to Contra Costa County
recorded November 26, 1958 in Book 3271 at page 258 of Official Records of
Contra Costa County, California, lying within the northeast 1/4 of Section 20,
Township 2 North, Range 2 East, Mount Diablo Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning on the westerly line of said County parcel at a point on a line
which is parallel with and 56.00 feet southerly, right angle measure, from the
"L" line for Wilbur Avenue as shown on the drawing entitled "A Precise Section
of the Streets and Highways Plan, Contra Costa County, Wilbur Avenue" recorded
February 20, 1958 in Book 3122 at page 401, records of said County; thence
along said parallel line, south 880 23' 06" east 87.93 feet to the easterly
line of said County parcel (3271 OR 258) ; thence along said line south
1° 20' 24" west 19.00 feet to the southerly line of said County parcel (3271
OR 258) ; thence along said line, north 881 23' 06" west 87.93 feet to the
westerly line of said County parcel; thence along said line, north 10 19' 56"
east 19.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 1671 square feet of land, more or less.
Bearings used in the above description are based on the California Coordinate
System Zone III.
