FINANCIAL IMPACT: None REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: Your Board approved as part of the County's 1985 Legislative Program the Municipal Court Pay. and Staffing Bill. This is a routine annual bill which this County introduces each year to update the pay and staffing of the Municipal Courts, including the Marshal's Office. This year's changes include the addition of two Court Commissioners and various changes in classification and pay scales made in positions during the past year within the Courts and the Marshal's Office. Senator Boatwright introduced SB 385 to accomplish these purposes. Normally, this is a matter which is routinely passed by the Legislature as a separate bill for each county involved. This year, however, the Legislature has decided to consolidate all the various Municipal Court pay and staffing bills introduced by various counties into one bill, which is Senate Bill 1318 (Marks).
