SUBJECT: Relocation Claim

SPECIFIC REQUESTS(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) A BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
1. Recommended Action: APPROVE Relocation Assistance Claim dated 6-20-85 from
Ruth H. Polley, AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant for $2,676.00
in favor of same and delivery to the County Real Property Division for processing,
AUTHORIZE the Executive Director to sign the Claim on behalf of the Agency.
2. Financial Impact: $2,676.00. Adequate funds are currently available from Agency
budget.
3. Reasons for Recommendations: The claimant is entitled to receive relocation
benefits pursuant to Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Guidelines
adopted by Contra Costa County.
4. Background: The Agency purchased claimant's house located at 1393 Las Juntas
Way, Walnlut - Creek on February 8, 1985. Claimant had owned and occupied the
property since 1944.
S. Consequences of Negative Action: State law requires that these benefits be made
available to qualified owners/tenants of property acquired by public agencies.
