Dear Mr. Davis:
Senator Milson of San Diego recently sent the Board a letter urging our
support of the National Flood Insurance Program.
The followup inquiry by our County Administrator's Office revealed that only
two cities in the county were not participants in the program. Your City is
one of those two cities. Your staff should consider joining such a worthwhile
program to provide protection for local home owners in the event of future
storms.
If you need more information on this subject, please feel free to contact the
County's Director, Office of Emergency Services at (415) 228-5000.
Your serious consideration of this program is appreciated.
Very truly yours,
r 7
