The Rape Crisis Center of West Contra Costa, Contract #20-465, had advised
the Social Service Department that they intended to reduce their service
area from Countywide to West Contra Costa County area only. This decision
would have required a,reduction in funding from AB 1733 funds, although their
entire budget for this program is approximately $140,000 from State and
AB 1733 funds. They have now agreed to continue Countywide service.
With one exception, the FY 1984-85 contracts will be 11-month prorated
amounts of the FY 1983-84 contracts. #20-466 with Early Childhood Mental
Health Program will have the same Payment Limit as in FY 1983-84 since it
was previously a 10-month contract. The other four contracts were previously
for a 12-month period.
