SUBJECT: Consulting Services Agreement with William Gray Consulting Services
Specific Requests or Recommendations & Background & Justification
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Consulting Services Agreement with William Gray Consulting Services, 2500 Old
Crow Canyon Road, Suite 118, San Ramon, CA 94583, for general management and consulting
services for the period of June 8, 1984 through. June 30, 1985, with payment not to exceed
$18,000.
BACKGROUND
William Gray has specific experience and knowledge which is valuable to the work of the
Public Works Department. This Agreement provides a vehicle under which Mr. Gray can be
available to the Public Works Director and the Public Works Department to provide specific
services related to the acquisition, preservation and planning for future use of the abandoned
San Ramon Branchline of the Southern Pacific Railroad right of way. In addition, management
services to the Public Works Department relative to administration of Assesment District
1983-1 (Pleasant Hill BART Station) and general management and consulting relative to
activities of the newly formed Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee would be
included.
