Dear Board Members:
Re: A/DA/MH Contractors' Cost-of-
Living Adjustments (COLA's)
On July 31 , 1984, the Board directed this office and the Acting
Health Services Director to report on the specific dollar amounts
of each contractor's COLA; in other words, to detail the $280,000
which has been. provided in the Finance Committee' s report on the
budget for this purpose.
The attached sheet lists each alcohol , drug abuse, and mental health
contract with the projected 1984-1985 payment limit, after taking into
account the reductions made as a result of the "Beilenson Hearings".
These contracts total $5,391 ,557. Five percent (5%) of this figure
is $269,578. Minor adjustments may need to be made to these figures,
but in general each contract will be increased 5% from the payment
limit shown on the attached sheet.
Respectfully,
PHIL BATCHELOR
County Administrator
