The above night shift differential is effective August 1, 2007. BACKGROUND: Due to the Inability to fill night shift positions, we have proposed that the differential for this shift be increased from 5%to 10% effective on August 1, 2007, for the Respiratory Care Practitioner I and II classifications and shift referenced above. This increase should enable the current vacancies to be filled, and an appropriate staffing level to be maintained. Terms and conditions of shift differential remain unchanged per Section 10- Shift Differential of the current Memorandum of Understanding. This is a non-precedent setting agreement. Any similar action would be considered on a case-by case basis.
