RECOMMENDATION:
ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No 20393 to add one Information Systems Programmer Analyst II
position (represented) in the Library Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The annual cost for this action is $98,845 with no net county cost. This cost is included in the Library 2007-
2008 budget.
BACKGROUND:
The Library is requesting to add one Information Systems Programmer Analyst II to assist the Information
Technology units in providing quality service for the Library public and staff as well as increase work
productivity and customer satisfaction. The Information Systems Programmer Analyst is responsible for
information systems and /or applications development, support, and implementation projects.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, the Department will not have adequate staffing to perform maintenance and
administration of computer systems and applications to systems users in the Library.
