SUBJECT: Ratifying the prior decision of the Public Works Director,or designee,to fully close
a portion of Cashmere Street between Lusitano Street and 3415 Cashmere Street,on
October. 2, 2008 until October 2, 2009, 24 hours per day, for the purpose of
construction site/model home security, (cross-reference Subdivision 04-08941),
Danville area. (District III)

IT IS BY THE BOARD RESOLVED that permission is granted to Shapell Homes to fully
close Cashmere Street between Lusitano Street and 3415 Cashmere Street, except for emergency
traffic, on October 2, 2008 until October 2, 2009, 24 hours per day, subject to the following
conditions:
1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets.
2. All signing to be in accordance with the California Manual on Uniform Traffic,Control
Devices.
3. Shapell Homes shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa
County.
4. Provide the County with a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 for
Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured
prior to permit issuance.
5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department, the California Highway
Patrol and the Fire District.
