HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01152008 - PR.1 INTHE MATTER OF RECOGNIZING RESOLUTION NO. 2008/42 EVAN AUSTIN HUBBARD ON THE OCCASION OF MARKING 25 YEARS OF SERVICE WITH CONTRA COSTA COUNTY WHEREAS, Evan Hubbard began his employment with Contra Costa County in December, 1982, as a Painter in the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, Evan transferred to the General Services Department as a Painter in 1985; and WHEREAS, Evan has been assigned to various County facilities and recognized for his professionalism, technical knowledge, and for providing quality, responsive service to County Departments; and WHEREAS, Evan is recognized as a Reserve Deputy since 1975 with the Office of the Sheriff, assigned to the Search&Rescue Team and Marine Patrol; and WHEREAS, Evan retired as First Sergeant from the California National Guard in 1996 after serving six years of active duty of his 27 years of military service; and WHEREAS, in 2003, 2005, and 2006, Evan was recognized by the General Services Department for perfect attendance; and WHEREAS, in May 2007, Evan was promoted to Lead Painter as a result of demonstrating technical knowledge, expertise, and a high level of dedication and enthusiasm to his job; and WHEREAS, Evan continues to perform his work for the General Services Department and the County with a personal commitment to integrity, professionalism, and excellence; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board of Supervisors hereby recognizes Evan Austin Hubbard for 25 years of quality and dedicated service to Contra Costa County. 4�*FEDERAL D.
