HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-589 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY.$ STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Annexation of a Portion of Meadow Lane RESOLUTION NO. 589 (County Road No. 4461) to the City of Concord. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa does resolve as follows: THAT on December 19, 1961, this Board adopted a Resolution of Intention to annex the hereinafter described portion of Meadow Lane to the City of Concord pursuant to Sections 35450, et seq. , of the Government Code, and THAT said resolution set as the time for hearing on this matter. the 30th day of January, 1962, at 10 o 'clock a.m in the Hall of Records, Main .and Court Streets, Martinez, Cali- fornia,. and the affidavits on file with the Clerk indicate that the Notice of the hearing on said matter was published as re- quired by law and that the Clerk has mailed a copy of said Notice to the City Council of the City of Concord as required by law, and THAT there were no protests, oral or written, by any taxpayers of the County or of the City of Concord and no objec- tion by the `City of Concord to the proposed annexation at the time set for the hearing of this matter, and THAT this Board orders the hereinafter described terri- tory annexed to the City of Concord, and THAT the territory which the County of Contra Costa hereby orders annexed to the City of Concord is-more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the most northerly corner of Trot 40, Meadow Village No. 1, filed August 9, 1949 in Map Book 38, page 7, being a point on the southwesterly line of Meadow Lane, and a point on the boundary line of the City of Concord; thence Northwesterly along the southwesterly line of Meadow Lane and the northwestern extension thereof to the southeastern line of the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railway Company (San Ramon Branch); thence Northeasterly along the southeasterly line of the said right of way to its inter- section with the boundary Line of the City of Concord, said point being the intersection of the northeast line of Meadow Lane and the northwest line of Market Street; thence South- easterly, Southwesterly and Northwesterly along the boundary line of the City of Concord to the paint of beginning. RESOLUTION NO. 589 PASSED AND ADOPTED on the January 30, 1962, by the follow- ing vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Thomas John Call Edmund. A. Linsoheid, Joseph S.
