HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-569 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CENTRA COSTA COUNTY, _STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the .Matter of Authorizing Execution of Easement to Contra Costa County Flood RESOLUTION NO. 569 Control and Water Conservation District for Las Trampas Creek {Olympic .Blvd, , County Rd. 13441} . The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa does resolve as follows: THAT the County of Contra Costa owns certain real property as described in the deeds from the the Administrator of the Estate of Elizabeth Goodman, recorded January 5, 1962, in Book 4029 of Official Records, page 19, and from Claire Goodman Sawyer to Western Title Guaranty Company, Centra Costo, County Division, recorded April 1.8, 1961, in Book 3848 of Official Records at page 185 pursuant to which Western Title Guaranty Company is holding a two-thirds interest in said real property by agreement with the County; and THAT the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District had condemned an easement for flood control purposes over a portion of said property in Las Trampas Creek in Action No. 75339 in Superior Court, filed May 21, 1959, described as Parcel #28 therein; and THAT in order to eliminate the cloud on the title created by said action, this Board does hereby authorize and approve the conveyance of said easement to Contra Costa County Flood Control and Mater Conservation District for and in con- sideration of payment of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150) ; and THAT the Chairman of this Board and the Western Title Guaranty Company are hereby authorized and directed to execute the easement described herein for and on behalf of the County of Contra Costa and direct the Right of Way Agent to cause the same to be delivered to the Grantee, upon pay- ment of said consideration. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1962, by the following vote of the Board: C AYES Supervisors Thomas John Coll, Edmund A. Li..nschei,d, Joseph S. Silva. NOES: None.
