HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-494 t IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Approval of testimony and authorization for presentation before they , , Assembly Interim Committee No. 494 on Water, .December 13, 1951. WHEREAS the Assembly Interim Committee on Water of the California. Legislature ha-s requested Contra Costa County to pre- pare testimony to include: 1 . A brief description of any work on the Delta which Contra Costa County or its constituent agencies or citizens have planned, undertaken or completed since the Committee ' s hearings last year; 2 . A brief enumeration of the interests and objectives Contra Costa. County has in the future development of the Delta; 3. Based upon two above, a brief description of the Delta as a whole which Contra. Costa. County envi- sions will exist when the initial features of the State Water Facilities reach full operating capa- city in about 1940. Do not overlook federal or locally constructed facilities; and WHEREAS this Board on November 14, 1951, ordered John Nejedly, District Attorney, William J. O' Connell, Consultant, and Jack Port, Executive Secretary of the Contra Costa, County Water Agency, to prepare such testimony; and WHEREAS the above-mentioned have prepared testimony per- taining to the above and which this Board has reviewed and finds satisfactory; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Contra Costa, County Water Agency is hereby authorized to present the testimony in behalf of the Board. of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, be- fore the Assembly Interim Committee on Water, December 13, 1961 . PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of December, 1961, by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors Niel F. Nielsen, Thomas John Coll, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S . Silva. , NOES: None .
