WHEREAS, the County Assessor having Filed with this Heard requests for correction of erroneous assessments, said requests having been consented to by the District Attorney; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is authorized to correct the following assessments: For the Fiscal Year 1961 In accordance with Section 4831 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, the following corrections are authorized: In Volume 10, Assessment #60336, D. J. and Edith Leahy are assessed with -40 acre parcel in Ro El Pinole. Mr. Leahy Filed claim for veteran's exemption but through an error exemption was not allowed. Exemption of $1000 should be allowed. In Volume 381, Code 8230, ?arced 35=282-o4o F. D. and Alice Lorenzetti, Rt 1 Box 343A, Oakley are assedsed with a ortion of Lot 7 Oakley Park with improvements erroneously assessed at 12170. These improvements should be removed and added to existing improvements on Fardel 35-282-05 at the request of Maria Loresnzetti (Rt 2 Bax 396, Oakley) , Also $270 trees appearing on #35-282-05 should be removed. In Volume 27, Code 6007, Parcel 11-180-803, California Western Staters Life Insurance Co . , is erroneously assessed with 1/'2 interest in mimes ral rights in 67.60 acres. The correct number of acres is 44,20 and the correct assessed value is $60, In Volume 37, Code 17918, Parcel 78. 080--Ols O. A. and Maria Johnson are assessed with 21 .77 acres in Section 28 TlN RlE. Mr. Johnson filed claim for veteran's exemption. Exemption of $670 was allowed instead of $870. An additional exemption of 0200 should be allowed. In Volume 33, Code 7936, P reel 127-170-10, W. C. and Jean. Miall are assessed with. 11.303 acres in Pacheco Grant with land erroneously assessed at $7000. A computation error was made in arriving at the assessed value. The correct assessed value of land is $3500. Improvements and trees remain the same. Page 1 of ,.��...., REMOMON NO. 460 } In Volume 36, Code 7991, Parcel 149-246-12, G. J. and Mae Miller are assessed with portion of Lot 22 Pleasant Hill Homesites No.2 with personal property erroneously assessed at $480. An error was made in arriving at the assessed value. The correct value is 2 0. In Volume 25, Gude 900, Parcel 173-070-121, Marie H. Ledson is assessed with a portion of Lot 16 Map of Walden. Mr. w. F. Ledson filed claim for veteran' s exemption but through an error exemption was not allowed. Exemption of $1000 should be allowed. In Volume 28, Code 66 .8 Parcel 199.231-03, R. J. and Mary Wedetmger are assessed with Lot 69 Rancho Bel amigo Unit No. 3 with improvements erroneously assessed at $5530. These improvements were incomplete on lien date. The correct assessed value is $4720. In Volume 281, Gude 6602, Parcel 200-010-02, Barbara E. Campion is assessed with portion of Lot 33 Map of Rancho, E1 Rio with improvements erroneously assessed at $1770. These improvements should be cancelled as they did not exist on lien date. In Volume 26, Code 5100, Parcel 201-050-01, A. A. and. Josephine Jones are assessed. with 1.03 acres in Rancho San Ramon with improvements erroneously assessed at $1000. These improvements did not exist on lien date and should be cancelled. In, Volume 8, Code 300, Parcel 503-010-05, El Cerrito Lumber Company is assessed with Lots 15 to 32 inclusive Black 50, North Berkeley Terrace with land assessed at $19500, improvements at .$3500, $12220 fixed Machinery, 311310, peraonal property and $110 money and solvent credits at 14-2660. As a result of an audit it has been determined an error was made in arriving at some of these values. The correct assessed value of personal property is $1006309 fixed machinery $8910, solvent credits $31040, Land, improvements and money remain the same. In Volume 30, Code 7311, Parcel 185-052-02, Sun Valley Bible Chapel Inc. , is assessed with 2.58 acres in RoCanada del Bambre. This church filed claim for church exemption but through an error exemption of 18010 was allowed instead of $20380. An additional exemption of 12370 should be allowed.
