In the Matter of Authorizing Sale
of a Portion of Right of Way and
Execution of Conveyance Deed. i 30LUTION No.
(Orinda Highway, No. 0961)
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra
Costa does resolve as follows:
THAT the Board of Supervisors authorized acquisition
of certain real property described in the deed from L. R. Woolsey,
recorded June 100 1959, in Book 3389 of Official Records at page
490, for highway purposes, a portion of which was required for
county highway; and
THAT this Hoard does hereby determine that the
following described remaining portion of said property is no
longer required for highway purposes; and
THAT, pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and
Highways Cade, it is hereby determined that said property be
sold to the adjacent property owner and this Board does hereby
authorize and approve the sale of the following described
property to Jack A. Holmes and Florence C. Holmes, his wife,
for the sum of Two Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($225.00):
All that real property situate in the County of
Contra Costa, State of California, described as
follows:
A portion of Lot 5 as shown on the map entitled
"Garden of Eden" filed May 3, 1927 in Book 13 of
Maps at page 18. in the office of the Recorder of
the County of Contra Costa, State of California,,
described as follows:
Beginning; at the northwest corner of said Lot 5;
thence along the northerly line of said Lot 5 north
59° 30, 49"east 33.16 feet; thence south_ 52° 36t 26"
east 53.29 feet to the southerly line of said Lot 5;
thence along said southerly line south 68° 181 -4911
west 56.67 feet to the westerly line of said Lot 5;
thence along said westerly line north 260 35' 21"
west 40.79 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 0.05 acres of land, more or less.

RESOLUTION NO.—
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all right of ingress or egress
from the hereinabove described 0.05 acre parcel of
land to or from the County Road known as E1 Toyonal
over the easterly lite of said 0.05 acre parcel of
land, said line more particularly described as fol-
lows: ' South 52° 36; 2E" east 53.29 feet", so that
no right of ingress or egress from said 0,05 acre
parcel of land to said County Road shall attach or
be appurtenant to the 0.05 acre parcel of land hereby
conveyed by reason of said parcel abutting on said
County Road.
THAT the Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized
and directed to execute a grant deed for and on behalf of the
County of Centra Costa, and cause the same to be delivered to
the grantees, .lack A. Holmes and Florence C. Holmes, his wife,,
u on payment of the said Two Hundred Twenty Five Dollars
{225.00).
