On motion of Supervisor Kenny, seconded by Super- visor Nielsen, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board does hereby order that on the 30th day of November, 1961, at the Board Room of the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Records, Martinez, California, at the hour of 10 a.m. , a hearing will be held on the report of the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District and the proposed Rapid Transit Plan thereof inci- dent to the proposed General Obligation Bond Election of said District . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of such hear- ing be posted and published as required by law and ,given in the form attached hereto. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31st day of October, 1961, by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Mel F. Nielsen, Thomas John Coll, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S. Silva. NOES: None. ABSENT: None . RESOLUTION NO. - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA RAPID TRANSIT DISTRICT REPORTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District has filed with this Board of Supervisors reports of its engineers, economists and fiscal experts, describing and setting forth a proposed regional rapid transit system, the estimated cost thereof and the proposed method of financing the same, all of which are on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and open to the inspection of all interested parties. On the basis of said reports, the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District proposes to submit to the electors of the District a proposition for the issuance of District bonds in the aggregate principal amount of $939,000,000 payable from taxes to be levied and assessed upon all taxable property in the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District, without limitation of rate or amount . Notice is further given that this Board of Supervisors has fixed November 30, 1961, at the hour of 10 o! clock a.m., at the office of the Board of Supervisors, Room 210, Hall of Records, Martinez, Contra Costa County, as the time and place for a public hearing to consider such reports . At said time and place all interested parties may appear and, be heard. This Board of Super- visors will consider all matters, oral or documentary, pertaining to said reports and to said proposed, regional rapid transit system in all respects as required by law. This Beard of Supervisors will thereafter determine whether or not it approves said reports .
