HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-384 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ; CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Laying Out, � Acquisition and Construction of a Portion of County Highway with- RESOLUTION Nb. in the Jurisdiction of the County 38 of Contra Costa as a Freeway. ? WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity require the laying out, acquisition and construction as a freeway of the section of County Highway hereinafter described lying within the County of Contra Costa and designated as County Read No. 4722; NOW,, THEREFORE, the section of County Highway herein- after described is hereby declared to be and from the date hereof shall have the status of a freeway as said term is defined in the Streets and Highways Code, said declaration being made by this body pursuant to the authority vested in it by Section 941.1 of the said Streets and Highways Coda. The section of County Highway hereinbefore referred to is particularly described as follows: All that portion of the proposed County Road No. 4722, Sycamore Valley Road extending easterly from the intersection with State Route IV-CC-107-A S.R. 21) near Podva Road to an intersection with Tassajara Road (County Road No. 4721) near Freitas Road having a length of 1.53 miles, more or less. The location and extent of the portion of County Highway herein declared to be and constitute a freeway within the meaning of the term as defined in the Streets and Highways Code is shown on a map or plat entitled 'Freeway Exhibit Map of Sycamore valley Road=. Road 47220 dated October 18, 1961, on file in the office of the County Clerk of Contra Costa County. PASSED ANTI ADOPTED by the Board of ;Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, on the 24th day of October, 1961, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Thomas John Coll, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S. Silva. NOES: Done. ABSENT: Supervisor Mel F. Nielsen. UTI O pq NO. 384
