In the Mutter of Changes
of the Assessment Roll RESOLUTION NO. 374
of Contra Costa County.
WHEREAS, the County Assessor having filed with this Hoard
requests for correction of erroneous assessmenta, said requests having
been oonsented to by the District Attorney;
NOW.. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the CountyAuditor in
authorized to oorrect the following assessments:
For the Fiscal Year 1961 - 196,2
In accordance with provisions of Section 4831 of the Revenue
and Taxation Cade, the following corrections are authorized;
In Volume 38, Code 8204, #37-191 .010 R. L. and Ethel Emerson
are erroneously assessed with personal -property in the amount of $25760.
A portion of this personal property is located in and has been assessed
in Stanislau>s County. The correct amount is 24140.
In Volume 46, Code 10002, #180-200-071, F. T. and Helen Finigan
are assessed with a portion of Lot 1 Rooney Terrace with improvements
erroneously assessed at $5630. These improvements should be removed
and sodded to #180 .200-17 being a portion of Lots 5, 6, 8 Rooney Terrace
appearing in the names of Jack W. and Muriel E. Unverferth. Mr. and Mrs .
Jn.verferth have been notified of the addition of improvements .
In Volume 26, Cade 5100, #197-i6l-021 D. _A. and Dorothy
Shapland are assessed with Lot 70, Subdivision Lot A Rancho El Rio
with improvements erroneously assessed at $820. These improvements
were removed pricer to lien date and should be cancelled.
In. Volume 1 . Parcel Nos . 65-262-24 and 65_262-45 erroneously
appear under Tax Cade Area 100. The correct Cade is 5304. Also,
Codas 8206 should be changed to Codes 8234 on Parcel Nos. 32-150-08
and 32-150-12.
In Volume 39, Coda 8304 , #x263-052-04 , L. G. and Geraldine
Morris are assessed, with Lot 14 Snug Harbor with improvements
erroneously assessed at $6250. Due to a clerical error in the failure
of the reappraisal sheet not being transmitted to the Roll Division
the correct assessed value of improvements dues not appear on the Roll.

The correct assessed value of improvements is $5490.
In Volume 6, Parcel Nos . 120-121-16 and 120 .121-17
erroneously appear in Tax Code Area 208. The correct Code is 7996.
In Volume 34, Code 7968, #159-140-04, V. P. Baker et al,
are assessed with 359.17 acres in Rancho Las Juntas and Swamp and
Overflow Lands , assessed value of land $38800. Francis L. Such and
W. McCaull.ey acquired portions of this property but through an error
these assessments T, ere not rade on the Rall. This property should be
assessed as follows:

Assessed value of land $36.560.

In Volume 35, Cade 7983, Rex S. and Rita A. Spendlove are
erroneously assessed with Lot 15 Sherwood Heights , assessed value of
land $1500. Mr. and Mrs . Spendlove acquired a portion of Lot 15 but
through an error all of Lot 15 was transferred to them. This property
should be assessed as follows:

Boat number CF 4904 Aa is assessed in the name of Eugene McIntyre, assessed
value $180. This boat is assessed and the.tax, psa.id in Alameda County. Therefore,
assessment no. 547, code 801, should be cancelled.
Code 7305-Assessment No. 42
Boat number OF 8980 AK is assessed in the name of Paul G. Daly, assessed value
$650. This boat was sold prior to the lien date to Ski Craft Co. and assessed
as a part of the inventory of the business. Therefore, assessment no. 42, code
7305, should be cancelled.
Code 8510-Assessment, No. C
Boat number CF 4384 AG is assessed in the nacos of Daryol Askew, assessed
value $20. This boat was sold prior to the lien date and taken to San Joaquin
County where it has been assessed. Therefore, assssessnt no. _. code 8510,
should be cancelled.
