HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-372 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Leasing of a Portion of Buchanan Field at the RESOLUTION NO. 372 County Airport for Proposed Industrial Development. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa does resolve as follows: THAT on the 10th day of October, 1961, King Parker, re- presenting an undisclosed client, appeared before this Board to submit a proposal with reference to the leasing of approximately 93 acres within Buchanan Field, the County Airport, at Concord, California, for the purposes of a Controlled Manufacturing activity, and THAT this area which would be within Buchanan Field would be a portion of a 200 acre site for a Controlled Manufacturing activity, and THAT this Board favorably received Mr. Parker's report, and hereby signifies its willingness to entertain further discussions in relation to the proposal for the leasing of certain portions of Buchanan Field for the purposes as described above. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the following vote of the Board.: AYES: Supervisors - JAMES P. KENNY, MEL F. NIELSEN, THOMAS JOHN COLL, EDMUND A. LINSCHEID, JOSEPH S. SILVA NOES: Supervisors - NONE ABSENT: Supervisors -- NONE RESOLUTION NO. 372
