HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-330 } IN THE BOARD OFFOSUPERVISORS O CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Metter of the Proposed Abandonment of a RESOLUTION AND NOTICE Portion of San Joaquin OF INTENTION TO ABANDON Avenue (Road 8345), Byron, No. 330 The Board of Supervisors of the County cif Contra Costa does resolve as follows : THAT the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, pursuant to the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code, declares its intention to abandon the hereinafter des- cribed County Road in the County of Contra. Costaj State of California. All of San Joaquin Avenge lying between Byron Highway, and Washington Street, as shown on the "Amended map of Town of Byron, Epstein Addition", filed August 22.. 1916 in Bock 15 at Page 310. THAT this matter be referred to the Planning Commis- sion for report prior to the date herein set for hearing. THAT the Board does hereby fix Tuesday, the 31st day of {October, 1961 , at ten o'clock a.m. in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Records, Main and Court Streets, Martinez, California, as the time and place fixed for hearing, at which time or on the date to which the hearin is postponed or continued, the Board of Supervisors will hear evidence offered by any party interested. If the Board finds from all the evidence submitted that all, or any part of the hereinbefore mentioned County Road is unnecessary for present RESOLUTION No. 330 RESOLUTION NO. 3 3 0 or prospective public use, the Board will make its order of abandonment. The County Clerk is directed to cause notice of said proposed abandonment to be published in the BREMOOD HWS a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of Contra Costa, which this Board designates as the newspaper most likely to give notice to persons interested in said pro- posed abandonment, for at least two weeks prior to the day herein fined for hearing; and it is further directed to be caused to be pasted conspicuously copies of this resolution along the line of the County Road proposed to be abandoned. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the following vote of the Board; AYES: Supervisors - James P. Kenny, Mal F. Nielsen, Thomas John Coll, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S. Silva, NOES. Supervisors - None.
