In the Matter of Authorizing Sale
of a Portion of Right of tray and
Execution of Conveyance Deed. RESOLUTION NO. 6�l
(Orinda Highway, No. 0961)
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra
Costa does resolve as follows :
THAT the Beard of Supervisors authorized acquisition
of certain real property described in the deed from Robert M.
McFarland and Anlo McFarland, his wife, dated May 17, 1956,
recorded June 15, 1956, in Book 2788 of Official Records at
page 195, for highway purposes, a portion of which was required
for county highway; and
THAT this Board dors hereby determine that the
following described remaining portion of said property is no
longer required for highway purposes; and
THAT, pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and
Highways Code, it is hereby determined that said property be
sold to the adjacent property owner and this Board does hereby
authorize and approve the sale of the following described
property to Norman A. Moxness and V. Jane Moxness, his wife
for the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars (; 1,500.001:
Portion of Lot 3, Block B. as said lot is shown on the
map of Orinda Park Terrace filed on May 2, 1922, in
Book 18 of Maps, at page 339, et seq., in the office of
the County Recorder of Contra Costa County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of said Lot 3;
thence from said point of beginning, along the north-
westerly line of said Lot 3, North 67 351 14" east
(the bearing north 67° 35' 14" east being taken for the
purpose of this description), 33.08 feet to a point
that lies 102.01 feet southwesterly of Station 48+57.40
on the center line (G4 line) of the County Road known
as Camino Pablo tiformerly San Pablo Dam Road); thence
south 31a 58' 15' east, 212.87 feet to a point on a line
parallel-to, and 10 feet northerly of the southerly line
of said Lot 3, said point lies 48.27 feet easterly of
Station 46+29.14 of said center line; thence, along said
line, south 88° 38' 44" west, 93.67 feet to the south-
westerly line of said Lot 3; thence along said south-
westerly line, north 16° 15' 46" west, 177.28 feet to
the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 0.263 acres of land, more or less.

RESERVING THEREFROM, an easement for the transmission
and distribution of electrical power, described as
follows:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of the hereinabove
described 0.263 acre parcel of land; thence from said
point of beginning, along the. northeasterly line of said
0.263 acre parcel of land, north 31* 58' 15" west, 212.87
feet to the northwesterly line of said 0.263 acre parcel
of land; thence, alon said northwesterly line, south
67° 35' 14" west, 14.93 feet; thence south 35° 48' 15"
east, 215.78 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all rights of ingress and egress
from the hereinabove described 0.263 acre parcel of land
to or from the County Road known as Camino Pablo, formerly
San Pablo gam Road, over the northeasterly line of said
0.263 acre parcel of land, said line being more part icularlr
described as follows: "South 31° 58' 15" east, 212.87 feet ',
so that no right of ingress or egress from said 0.263 acre
parcel of land to said County Road shall attach or be
appurtenant to the 0.263 acre parcel of land hereby conveyed
by reason of said parcel abutting on said County Road.
THAT the Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized
and directed to execute a grant deed for and on behalf of the
County of Contra Costa, and cause the same to be delivered to
the grantees, Norman A. Moxness and V. Jane Moxness, his wife,

(on payment of the said One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
1,500.00).
