RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, did in open session on the 22nd day of August, 1961, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals and bids for doing work and improvement described in its Resolution of Intention for the construction of improvements in Assessment District 1959-3, adopted on the 24th day of November, 1.959, as amended by Resolutions adopted on January 12, 1.960, and February 16, 1960, which Resolutions are hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and improvement and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said Resolution of Intention as amended; and WHEREAS, said bids after being publicly opened, examined, and declared were calculated by the Engineer of Work and the report of the results of the bidding and calculations of the Engineer of Work were reported to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa at its next regular meeting on August 22, 19610 NOMI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Super- visors uper-visors of the County of Contra Costa hereby rejects all of said proposals and bids except that herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: C & H Contractors, 10151 Market Street, Richmond, California, at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Contra Costa. Said County Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said award in the Richmond Independent, a newspaper published and circulated in the County of Contra Costa, and heretofore desig- nated for that purpose by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22n day of August, 1961, by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors - James P. Kenny Mel F. Nielsen, Thomas John Coil, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S. Silva.
