CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
In the Matter of the
Proposed Abandonment of a RESOLUTION AND NOTICE

Friendship Farms subdivision.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa
does resolve as follows :
THAT the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra
Costa, pursuant to the provisions of the Streets & Highways
Code, declares its intention to abandon the hereinafter des-
cribed County road in the County of Contra Costa, State of
California:
A fourteen-foot-wide strip along the southerly
line of Mt. Diablo Boulevard, being the north-
erly fourteen feet of Lot 2, as shown on the
map of Friendship Farms, filed November 7,
1941, in Map Book 25 at Page 857, together
with the abutters ' rights of access, which
were previously acquired along this strip.
THAT this matter be referred to the Planning Commis-
sion for report prior to the date herein set for hearing.
THAT the Board does hereby fix Tuesday, the 12th
day of September, 1961 , at ten o'clock a.m. in the Chambers
of the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Records, Main and Court
Streets, Martinez, California, as the time and place fixed for
hearing, at which time or on the date to which the hearing is
postponed or continued, the Board of Supervisors will hear
evidence offered by any party interested. If the Board finds
from all the evidence submitted that all, or any part of the
hereinbefore mentioned County road is unnecessary for present

or prospective public use, the Board will make its order of
abandonment. The County Clerk is directed to cause notice of
said proposed abandonment to be published in the LAFAYETTE SUN,
a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of
Contra Costa, which this Board designates as the newspaper
most likely to give notice to persons interested in said pro-
posed abandonment, for at least two weeks prior to the day
herein fixed for hearing; and it is further directed to be
caused to be pasted conspicuously copies of this resolution
along the line of the County road proposed to be abandoned.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the following vote of the Board:
AYES: Supervisors - James P. Kenny, Mel F. Nielsen,
Thomas John Call, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph
S. Silva.
NOES: Supervisors - None.
ABSENT: Supervisors -- None.
