IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Aid-to-City Funds for the Construction of RESOLUTION No. 204 Cavallo Road Project, Antioch. WHEREAS„ the City of Antioch has requested a grant of Aid- to-City funds for the construction of the Cavallo Road project, be- tween Tregallas Road and Wilbur Avenue, in the amount of $90,000 by Resolution No. 1879-A of the City Council of Antioch, dated July 10, 1961; and WHEREAS, Cavallo Road in the City of Antioch is a part of the approved City-County Thoroughfare System; and WHEREAS, this Board on July 5, 1961, approved a budget al- location of $90,000 for the project for the 1.961-1962 fiscal year; NOW, THERE-PORE., on the recommendation of the Public Works Director, and on motion of Supervisor Nielsen, seconded by Super-- visor Coll, BE IT BY THIS BOARD RESOLVED that the sum of $90,0©O is allocated to. the City of Antioch for the construction of the Cavallo Road project, subject to the following conditions : 1. Construction work to be paid for by the County shall not include any new sidewalks, curbs, gutters, sewers or utility lines (other than the relocation or re- placement of existing facilities required to permit construction of the road) . 2. The County Auditor-Controller will pay to the City of Antioch, or to any other party designated by the City Engineer who may have money due from the project, any monies due upon receipt of invoice approved by the City Engineer and the County Public Works Director (or authorized deputies) . 3. The total of payments by the County shall not exceed $907,000, and any unexpended balance of the $90,000 allocation for the project shall be retained by the County. 4. All expenditures made in connection with the work for which the allocation is made, shall be subject to audit by the Internal Auditing; Division of the Office of the County Auditor-Controller. PASSED AND ADOPTED this Ilth day of July, 1961, by the fol- lowing vote of the Board: . AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Mel. F. Nielsen, Thomas John Coll, Joseph S. Silva. NOES: None.
