In the Matter of Conveying
Certain County Property to
the City of Walnut V Creek RESOLUTION NO2-02

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa
docs resolve as follows:
THAT on the 20th day of June, 1961, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, by at Least a
four-fifths vote of the members of said Board, duly passed and
adopted a resolution, declaring the intention of this Board
to grant and dedicate by deed to the City of Walnut Creek, a
.municipal corporation, the real property described in the afore-
said resolution; and
THAT the affidavit of publication on file with this
Board discloses, and this Board expressly finds, that the
notice; of adaption of said resolution was duly and regularly
given in accordance with the provisions of Section 25365 of
the Government Code of the State; of California, to wit : by
publishing the notice for at least one (1) week prior to the date
of the passage of this resolution in the Walnut Kernel, a news-
paper of general circulation published in the County:
THAT this Board by the aforesaid resolution expressly
found that the property therein described was no longer needed
for County purposes; and.
THAT a conveyance by deed to the City of Walnut Creek
of the -real property described in the resolution passed on the
20th day of Juni:, 1961, be executed and delivered to said City
of alnut Creek; and
T1VkT the Chairman of this Board is authorized and directed
to execute said conveyance for and on behalf of the County of
Contra, Costa, and cause the said conveyance to by delivered to
the City of Walnut Creek.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Contra Costa, this lith day of July, 1961, by the
following vote of the Board:
AVIS: Supervisors James F. Kenny, Mel F. Nielsen,
Thomas John Coll, Joseph S. Silva.

ABSENT: Supervisors - Edmund A. Linscheid.
