HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-170 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of water supply at the Contra Costa County Rehabilitation Center, Clayton. RESOLUTION N0. 170 WHEREAS, the Contra Costa County Water District has a treated water division capable of delivering domestic water within its ser- vice area; and WHEREAS, the above referred-to District is currently contem- plating and planning for such extensions of treated water lines as are deemed necessary in the future; and WHEREAS, the County of Contra Costa maintains a rehabilita- tion center in the Clayton Valley area, south of the Town of Clayton; and WHEREAS, the water supply at the said center is inadequate to fulfill immediate requirements and the contemplated future needs for domestic water supply; NOW$ THEREFORE, IT IS BY THIS BOARD ORDERED that the County Administrator. and the Public 'Works .Director request the Contra Costa County Water District to determine the feasibility of bringing ade- quate domestic water service to the rehabilitation center and to re- port its findings as soon as possible. IT IS FURTHER DIRECTED that the County Administrator and the Public Works Director-provide such information as the Water District may request regarding water needs and plans in the Clayton Valley area to the extent that such information can be supplied. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1961, by the fol- lowing vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Mel F. Nielsen, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S. Silva. NOES:: None.
