HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - RES-134 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Authorizing Execution of Deed and Conveyance of Right of Way on Camino Pablo RESOLUTION NO. Co. Rd. No. 0961 to State of California. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa does resolve as follows: THAT the County of Contra Costa acquired by deed from Shell Oil Company, recorded March 11, 1960, in book 357A of Official Records, page 435, certain real property therein des- cribed as Parcel One-First for highway purposes, and THAT the State of California requires a 0.256 acre portion of said property for inclusion in the abutting State Highway, IV-CC-75-A, Sign Route 24, and THAT this Board does hereby determine that said portion of the real.. property hereinabove referred to, required for State highway purposes, be conveyed by Grant Deed to the State of California, for and in consideration of the State relocating the Camino ":Pablo (formerly known as Orinda Highway), Co. Rd. No. 0961, .connection to the State Freeway and relinquishment to the County of the superseded portions of the State Highway, and THAT the Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Grant Deed for the real property des- cribed therein for and on behalf of the County of Contra Costa and direct the Right of Way Agent to cause the same to be de- livered to the Grantee. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Mel F. Nielsen, Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S. Silva. NOES: None. ABSENT: Supervisor Thomas John Coll.
