In the Matter of Resolution of
Summary Abandonment of Superseded, RESOLUTION OF
Portion of San Pablo Dam Road, SUMMARY ABANDONMENT
County Road No. 0951. NO. 133
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra
Costa does resolve as follows:
THAT a portion of that certain County Highway described
in the deed from East Bay Water Co. to Contra Costa County,
recorded September 13, 1920 in book 370 of Deeds, page 32,
and known as San Pablo Dam Road (County Road No. 0961), sit-
uated within=-the County of Contra Costa, has been superseded
by relocation; and
THAT said relocation will not out off access to the
property of any person, which prior to such relocation adjoined
the highway; and
THAT East Bay Municipal Utility District has tendered
to the County of Contra Costa a deed dated May 12, 1961, for
the relocated portion of San Pablo Dam Road across that portion
of grantor's property described therein, for and in consideration
of the abandonment by the County of Contra Costa of that portion
of San Pablo Dam Road which by this resolution is abandoned; and
THAT it is to the mutual advantage of the County of
Contra Costa and said grantors that said abandonment be effected;
THAT all that portion of said County Highway, superseded
by relocation, and more particularly described as follows, be
and the same is hereby ABANDONED:
That parcel of land in the County of Contra Costa, State
of California, described as follows:
Portions of the Rancho EI Sobrante as so designated upon
the map entitled "map of the Rancho E1 Sobrante accompany-
ing and forming a part of the Final Report of the Referees
in Partition of said Rancho" which map was filed in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Contra Costa,
State of California, March 14, 1910, more particularly
described as follows:

All those portions of the County Road, knom as San Pablo
Dam Road described in the deed from East Bay Water Company
to Contra Costa County, recorded September 13, 1920 in book
370 of Deeds at page 32, Records of Contra Costa County,
State of California, lying outside the boundaries of and
superseded by, the new County highway, also known as San
Pablo Dam Road, as described in the deed from East Bay
Municipal Utility District to Contra Costa County dated
May 12, 1961 and recorded , 1961,
in book of Official Records, page
THAT this Board does hereby quitelaimf; to East Bay
Municipal Utility District, a public corporation, those portions
of the superceded County Road herein abandoned and described,
and does authorize its Chairman to execute a quitclaim deed
for and on behalf of the County of Contra Costa, and directs
the Clerk of the Board to cause the game to be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Contra Costa,
State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Contra Costa on the 31st day of May, 1951, by
the following vote:
AYES : Supervisors James P. Kenny, Niel F. Nielsen,
Edmund A. Linscheid, Joseph S. Silva.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Supervisor Thomas John Coll.
