WHEREAS, this Board is deeply concerned with legislation
pending before the State Legislature pertaining to the California
Kater Resources Development Program, the contract between the
Metropolitan eater District and the Department of outer Resources,
and all matters relating to State water planning, and is also con-
cerned with pending sewerage service legislation which effects the
operation and administration of county sanitation districts, and
therefore has considered the following bills relating to the above
matters and has decided upon the positions indicated below:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board endorses the
positions indicated. .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be forwarded
to the Honorable George Miller, Jr., Senator, 17th District, the Honor-
able Jerome R. Waldie, Assemblyman, 10th District; and the Honorable
John T. Knox, Assemblyman, 11th District,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 1961, by the following
