HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 05231961 - RES-110 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Approving Agreement and Authorizing Execution of Conveyance to VERNON PATTERSON, and others, for RESOLUTION NO. 110 Abandoned Portion of MT. DIABLO BLVD. , County Road No. 3+45. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa does resolve as follows : THAT the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa on the loth day of February, 1961, and on the 28th day of February, 1961, adopted resolutions abandoning portions of Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette, said Resolutions being recorded on February 20, 1961, in Book 3808 of Official Records, page 288, and on March 3, 1961, in Book 3816 of Official Records, page 259; and THAT title in said abandoned portion was acquired by the County of` Contra Costa by Resolution of Relinquishment by the State of California Highway Commission recorded August 16, 1957, in Book 3030 of Official Records, page 79; and THAT this Board does hereby determine that the real pro- perty described in said Resolutions of Abandonment dated February 14, 1961, and February 28, 1961, is no longer required for any County purpose; and THAT pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and High- ways Code, it is hereby determined that said property should be conveyed to the respective adjacent property owners upon the con- dition that the grantees will construct curb and gutters at no cost to the County; and THAT the Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized and directed to execute separate Crane Deeds for and on behalf of the County of Contra Costa and cause same to be delivered to Vernon Patterson, Dorothy Patterson, Stanford W. White and Henry DeHahn, Marie DeHahn, conveying to said persons the aforesaid property. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May , 1961, by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Thomas John Coll, Joseph S. Silva. NOES: Supervisors None. ABSENT: Supervisors Mel F. Nielsen, Edmund A. Linscheid. RESOLUTION NO. 110
