Sanitary District (Portion of
Tax-Deeded Lands).
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra
Costa does resolve as follows:
THAT the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Contra Costa., :Mate of California, intends to convey to the
Crockett Valona Sanitary District certain property described in
the following notice, without charge, except for actual costs
incurred by County, for Sanitary District purposes, and
THAT this Board determines a portion of the property
acquired by Agreement between County and the State Controller
dated February R 8, 1961, is no longer required for County use
and authorizes the conveyance in accordance with Section 25365
of the government Code, and
THAT this Board does hereby set WWnsis ay,the

day in the Chambers o e and of Supervisors in the Hall of
Records, Martinez, California, as the time and place when and
where said Board will meet to consummate the conveyance of the
real property described in said notice„ and
THAT the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors be and
he is hereby directed to cause to be published in the "Crockett
Ametican", a newspaper of general„ circulation, for one (1) week
immediately preceding the date set for hearing, the following
notice:
NOTICE OF IMEMION TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIM that the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, has,, on the
day of 1 � , 1961., in regular meeting, de-
clared its inten�n o convey to the Crockett-'V'alona Sanitary
District the following described real. property:
RESOLUTION No- 94
Portion of Tide Land Location No. 266, lying within
the Southwest 1/4 of Section 31, Township 3 forth, Range 3
West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, described as follows:
Commencing on the north line of the 100 feet in width
right of way of the Southern Pacific Company formerly Northern
Railway Company (the bearing of said north line being taken
as north 82 33' 1.5" west for the purpose of this description)
at the east line of the southwest 1/4 of said Section 31
being the east line of said Tide Land Survey No. 12 as
described in the patent from the State of California to
George W. Lee, dated June 3, 1869 and recorded September
18, 1.877 in Volume 2 of Patents, at page 528; thence from
said point of commencement north along said east line 53.59
feet to the north line of said Tide Land Survey No. 12,
being the south line of said Tide Land Location No. 226
as described in the patent from the state of California
to Port Costa Lumber Company, dated June 24, 1903 and re-
corded January 29, 1917 in Volume 5 of Patents, at page 17,
and the actual point of beginning of the herein described
parcel of land; thence from said point of beginning north
along the direct extension of the east line of Tide Land
Survey No. 12, 186.4 feet to the north line of said Tide
Land Location No. 226; thence north 7'90 30' west along said
North line to the most westerly corner of said. Tide Land
Location No. 226, being on the northeast line of said Tide
Land Survey No. 12; thence along the line between said
Tide Land Survey No. 12 and Tide Land Location No. 2-26-
south
26south 410 east 275.22 feet and south 72° 45' east, 101.64
feet to the point of beginning.
Being a portion of that property described in the deed
to the County of Contra Costa recorded April 21, 1961,
Series No. 27045, in Book 3851 of Official Records, page 599.
THAT it is proposed to convey said property to the
Crockett-Valona Sanitary District for actual costs incurred to
the County to make this conveyance; thatdne:� the 31 ay of
May , 1961 at ten o'clock a.m. of said day,--Tn the
Chambers o e and of Supervisors, Hall of Records, Martinez,
California, has been fixed as the time and place when said Board
will meet to make said conveyance.
