In the Matter of Conveying
Certain County Property to RESOLUTION NO.ALI
the City of Qlalnut Creek
(Veterans Memorial Property)
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa
does resolve as follows:
THAT on the 21st day of March, 1961, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, by at least a
four-fifths vote of the members of said Board, duly passed and
adopted a resolution, declaring the intention of this Board
to grant and dedicate by deed to the City of Walnut Creek, a
municipal corporation, the real property described in the afore-
said resolution; and
THAT, the affidavit of publication on file with this
Board discloses, and this Board expressly finds,, that the
notice of adoption of said resolution was duly and regularly
given in accordance with the provisions of Section 25"165 of
the Government Code of the State of California, to wit. By
publishing the notice for at least one (1) week prior to the
date of the passage of this resolution in the 'Walnut Kernel,
a newspaper of general circulation published in the County;
THAT, this Board by the aforesaid resolution expressly
found that the property therein described was no longer needed
for County purposes; and
THAT a conveyance by deed to the City of "44alnut Creek
of the real property described in the resolution passed on the
21st day of March, 1961, be -executed and delivered to said City
of Walnut Creek; and
THAT the Chairman. of this Board is authorized and directed
to execute said conveyance for and on behalf of the County of
Contra Costa, and cause the said conveyance to be delivered to
the City of :Walnut Creek.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Contra Costa, this llth day of -'.Pril, 19051 by the
following vote of the Board:
